I ordered a front bed panel for my 1950 3100 (original was in very poor condition), it came with a rolled over top. The one on the truck was "squared off" at the top, i.e. flat on top, no roll. Which is original, any source for the "squared off" version?

It has a rolled top edge ,I agree with Denny too,sounds like the later one you've got.

Sandwich, IL The 54-55 version was also several inches taller than the correct 50 front panel and its attachment to the sides is not the same. If in fact you have the 54-55 front panel, there may be other changes to your bed that need to be corrected to use the new front panel.
