Theres probably more places i just havent found. but if anyones got an idea of what the problem might be, a piston ring, valve i dunno. id appreciate the help | | | | | Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 1,377 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 1,377 | You might want to check your pcv system,if its not working the pressure from inside the motor will blow oil everywhere. You might want to see if its even got a pcv valve,if someone installed aftermarket chrome valve covers they might have done away with the pcv valve. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 | Pressure wash the hell out of it then drive it hard for a few miles. Check every few miles to look/see where the oil starts coming from. Look at the front of the intake manifold where it joins to the block, look where the lower edged of the block meets the oil-pan. There are two bolt holes on either side of the block in that locationwhere oil can start to leak. One more thing, does your intake have the factory oil fill tube at the front of the engine? It may have oil vapor leaking there when the pressure in the crankcase increases.Need to have a pcv valve installed in one of the valve covers.
