I have a 48 AD Truck mounted on a 91 s10 chassis and am looking for a good under dash mount pedal and booster assembly. I've seen some advertised with a 7" booster. Any body had any luck with a certain manufacture and is a 7" booster big enough?? Thanks Oldblue

Hey OldBlue

I used the CPP booster/pedal assembly combo for
under dash mounting. Pretty Easy to install once you remove the
flimsy dash brace that's in there now.

Works great on my disc/drum set up.

Somebody else recommended that also. How much fab work is needed to install? Do I need to beef up the firewall at all?I already have the stock dash brace out.

The new bracket is about 3/16' steel with the backing plate already welded
in place for reinforcement . Very stout. No flexing at all once
it is bolted in place through the firewall. Not really any fab work necessary.
You only need is to drill the mounting holes
and the hole for the master cylinder (about 2" hole as I recall).
In my case,
I had to grind off a little of the bracket, right where the bracket bolts through
the dash for the steering column; due to my selection of aftermarket gauges that stuck out back a little further than the stock gauges and interfered slightly. No big deal.
Hope this helps , OldBlue
