My research leads me to believe that this engine was built in 1948??? Because of the B
Is this in fact a 248 motor?
I looked for a plate on the left side like the shop manual said the 46 should have but found nothing. I supposed it could be crusted over. I want to order parts but need to know what I'm getting. Thanks for any help.
