So, I'm fixing to push some holes in the back of my panel today, to mount the bullet shaped signal lights. I know I want them back far enough that the doors won't strike them when fully open. But how far down from the belt? The photos in the gallery show them to be about 1 1/2" down. Is that the general consensus on the location?

The old "Dalek" lights on my truck, weren't far enough back, and there were dents in the doors, and the corners of the truck were pushed in from this.

Christopher,

I know you were/are having problems getting to my website. My guess is that you were/are looking for the mounting template for those lamps?

Here is the link:

If you cannot get a response, send me a PM or mail message with your email address. I'll mail the template to you.

I'll PM you my email Tim. I have reset my browser (safari), and restarted my mac. After exhausting all my sweet computer hacking skills, it still won't work.

I think THE MAN is behind this. I just have a few jobs left before I get to hit the road. Shove the signals in, fix the leaking gas line, replace the carb insulator, and put antifreeze in the truck.

Tim, being the great guy that he is, emailed me a copy of the template.

I haven't drilled the holes yet, I was all set to go for my first drive (with brakes!) and found that the fuel pump was sucking air instead of gasoline (it also leaked at the pipe), so I switched gears and fixed that, tomorrow though, I'll almost defiantly probably maybe get to the taillights....... I think.

I also have to solder the hole in the bottom of my oil bath.....
