Hi I live in ohio .I have recently bought a 1952 chevy truck. The problem is the title does not match the VIN number. no engine, 69 chevy truck frame. What are my options? How much less is the truck worth with a rebuild title. I bought it in Florida.I want to make a hotrod out of it.

If you are going to "hot rod" it, there will be no affect on value.

Before you put any money into it-- check with the Motor Vehicle dept to make sure that you will be able to register it. Since there isn't a clear history, you may not be able to get a title.

FL will want bill of sale and last registrant. Going thru this now with truck I bought out of GA. Seller said 53 but everything points to 49. Original seller has passed and guy I am buying from never titled truck in FL. Not fun frown

Be the person you would want as a friend because at the end of the game the King and Pawn go in the same box.

Good way to get a one way trip to the Hotel Of Iron Bars. Falsifying a vin is illegal. Better to go to the DMV and do it the legal way.
