I am trying to put my new rear bumper bumper and brackets on (stepside shorty didnt have one when i got it) I cant seem to figure out where the brackets bolt up to the frame...??? there are no holes that corospond to the brackets. I checked and I have the right brackets what gives? any clues?

Should be 2 bolts per side and 4 bolt to mount the bumper to the brackets. | | | | Joined: Oct 2011 Posts: 19 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Oct 2011 Posts: 19 | Not too sure what was the problem, wrong bumper, wrong brackets, or wrong truck; but something was a miss. Turns out that it was nothing a portaband and a file couldn't fix. Got it all mounted up and it looks good. | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | Did your truck have a bumper on it originally? Bumpers on the rear were optional, so if didn't have a factory/dealer installed one on it, the holes to mount one would not necessarily be there.
