Surely someone is close enough to go look with you and see what is going on.
But it's a longgggggg drive from Ranger, TX to Toledo, Ohio.

Why not try another starter? | | | | | Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 565 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 565 | 55 redstove, I know you must be extremely frustrated by now. It seems like it has to be one of two things. Either you have current to the starter button and it is shorting/grounding to the lever, or you somehow have current to the arm and it is shorting/grounding to the button.

Put a rubber cap over the button and see if it starts without the lever sticking/ welding to the button. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,636 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,636 | No one close enough to Ohio to go help him? I would if I wasn't so blooming far away. Wonder what a round trip plane ticket cost? I would love to see what it going on. | | |
