been searching for replacement wheels for a 1946 one ton with dual rear wheels.origional tire size is 7.50x16 six lug hub.any help finding a vendor would be appreciated.

The 6 lug pattern is going to be your biggest problem, not very common on anything newer (if at all?)

Update on my search for replacement wheels for my GMC252.I was speaking with a guy from Stockton Wheel in CA. A company that has been in around for over 100 years.I shipped him one of my rims to get measurements and see if they could come up with a replacement.I last spoke with the man named Harley about a week after i sent wheel,he said he recieved rim and asked for some measurements of the drums witch i went over with him.He said he would get back to me soon and should be able to come up with something.A couple weeks weht by and I got no responce and there website was shutdown.Searched their name on the web yesterday and learned that the owner had told everyoue to find another job and took his own life.I guess I will keep trying,how sad

I saw the same thing when I searched it after reading this. Supposedly, some of the employees bought the company from the owners family, and they reopened about 2 months ago. I'm not sure about the actal status on this, as their site is still not back up, but I've also heard that they're in the porcess of revamping it as well. I beleive Harley, whos name was mentioned in several in several of the sites I looked at, is one of the people who bought the company.

I believe those are 6 on 7.25" like I have, the only other truck that uses those are Divco-like in milk trucks. If you are handy, you could use two opposite studs, drill the brake drums and wheels to 10 on 7.25" and get some 19.5 or 22.5 wheels. I have thought of knocking the centers out of mine and seeing what tubeless wheel they would fit. Those wheels are configured to use as singles or duals on the rear, depending on fenders or not.

thanks for the reply,i am going to see if i can adapt a set of 70-80 era dual wheels.my wife works for a company that does fancy forgings and ornimental metal sculptures.they have a large machine shop and i have made a few pieces for my truck over there already.when i am done with the wiring and interior i will see if i can come up with a solution for my wheel issue.i would like to upgrade to a modern tubeless tire and wheel.i will keep you posted.

Update on Wheel search,Looks like Stockton Wheel has reopened after P.O. died.Spoke with Harley yesterday and he is shipping a wheel for me to test fit.I will let you know if it will work or not.
