Hi, I have been using stovebot for information for the last 6 months so I thought I better join

I purchased a 1937 chev pick up from a chap who had recently moved to a rest home. He bought the truck in 1947 and it was his only car til he sold it to me.

the truck has canadian id tags on it but it is Right hand drive so maybe assembled here in New Zealand.

The truck had a warrant of fitness 2009 but I currently have it in bits

This is my first project!

Hi Den, welcome! We assembled right hand drive vehicles for various countries, also South Africa and they were assembled here in Oshawa Ontario.

Good luck with getting it back together!

Welcome to the Stovebolt,Den. There are a few of us 37 owners wondering around the garage so stick around they'll show up later.
Lots of info here just be sure to ask the questions in the best forum for the best results.
Would love to see some pics when you can post some. Congrats on what sounds like a nice 37.

Welcome to Stovebolt! We had a 37 for years. Loved the pull handles on the inside of the door. The lower edge of the window surround. Just enough room for 2 people. Glad you joined! Good luck and get that truck back together. thumbs_up wave

Welcome from Texas, Den!
Take pictures along the way. It'll make your project trip more appreciable in the end. You came to a great place!

Welcome to the finest old chevy forum on the net.

Is your '37 a steel cab or the wooden framed colonial one?

Did you get the oil line issue sorter?

Regards,
