I've got a '51 with a 216 Rochester carburator that I just got rebuilt. It runs like a champ, but the screw is loosening as I drive. Any suggestions?

Are you talking about the Idle screw not the mixture screw?
If it is the idle screw, take the screw out and bend the two flat parts the screw pushes between closer together slightly, to put more drag on the screw.

It's the one on the back of the carburator that faces out towards the front driver's side fender.

Just looked in my shop manual. It's the idle screw. Thanks!
