My gas gauge when i turn the truck on jumps to just about half a tank, no matter how much fuel i put in the tank it stays at that point.is my gauge broke or is it possibly something else. Could it be that its a 12volt system and does not have a resistor?
Thanks

Could be the tank sender also. A search on this site will find plenty of suggestions to check it all out. It seems fuel gauge problems appear constantly on this forum.
