I'm trying to identify the engine but can't find corresponding numbers in the published lists. The number on the passenger side of the engine is B45 848 850 and on the driver's side is 8866 848 GM4. Can anyone help me identify the engine and year? Thx. It could possibly be a '61 or '62, my source stops at '60 for Passenger engines. There should be a date code cast on the passenger side of the block, near the starter.
