I just found a radio/with speaker under inside of unit that will go into my 53, 3600. This is a old radio and I'm told it works. (?). How was it tested....Would a 12volt test be the way, or 6volt test.(She's compleatly stock, 6 volt sys. and ALL new new wireing, thanks to CD).If it is 12volt, I'm thinking of hidding a small cycle batery under the seat, or glove box, and just mantain it....Any ideas..You guys are all like Dr. House to me,...(we'll talk about my back later) Thanks Four Time...Paul

If the radio has tubes, take the cover off and look at the number on one of the tubes. If the number starts with a six it is six volt, otherwise it will start with twelve and it would be twelve volt. If it is an all transistor radio, it will be twelve volt,
