Any recommendations for patch panel sources for my 1950 3800 1-ton? Looking to do the cab corners, rear fender fronts, some of the floor pan. I'm sure all of the sources are great, but any better than the others for quality and duplication of the originals?

Pickup cab?
Patch panels would be the same as used on 1/2 ton trucks.
Patch panels usually come primed gray or "primed"/coated with a black EDP (E-paint, or Electrophoretically Deposited Paint).

I restored a 1970 PU a few years back and found that some patch-panel sources were a little more "true" to the originals, some produced items made of heavier gauge steel. Trying to avoid the trial-and-error method.

Getting good patch panels is a risky business. Even if someone reports having obtained good panels, vendors switch suppliers and you cannot be sure of receiving the same part.
I usually buy panels from Jim Carter and from Classic Parts.
