The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Driveline 46 1/2 ton Differential Gasket questions

Are there gaskets available for the following 2 rear diff/axel applications? The first is located on the back side of the axel and is sandwiched between the axel flange and a light gauge flange shield(?) and is held in place by the wheel studs. The second is a gasket to go between the backing plate and the differential’s axel tube flange. Not sure about this one as the backing plates were riveted on originally. Picture might help if the terminology is incorrect.

I have searched everywhere and to no avail.
I saw a gasket on the axel tube for a late model truck's rear. I guess the question is, when the parts are OE metal to metal a gasket in not necessary, but would the modification of the piece(s) being now removable (i.e. rivets cut off and nut and bolted together) change the need for a gasket?

A day and a half of searching and found the large axle flange gasket under the following at the Filling Station.

Part Number: AF-365
BRAKE DRUM GASKETS
6 lug front or rear
1929-48 Passenger (exc. HB,JB);
1929-59 1/2 Ton Truck;
1960-66 1/2 Ton Truck (exc. 4WD)
Replaces 476518 (4-1/16 ID x 6-9/16 OD)

Once you look for brake drum gasket they are eveywhere, even a post earlier this year. They are being discussed for a different application though (front of flange between it and the drum, not behind it). Looks like there is a need for 6 not 2 as originally suspected.
