Quick question. Would a 1968 C50 have hub or stud piloted wheels? I ask because my '66 C50 has 22.5in hub piloted wheels on it. I am heading to NY tomorrow to pick up a 1968 C50 wrecker and was planning on bringing two of my 10R22.5 wheel/tire combos with me to bolt on as outers on the wrecker to drive home. This would give me a little more top speed on the highway and the 10R tires are brand new.
I'm wondering if they are going to bolt up on the rear, especially if the other wheels are stud piloted. The rear axle is the same one that is in my '66 and has the big full floater ends on it.
Any help on this?
Thanks,

The hub piloted and stud piloted wheels will not interchange. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 59 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 59 | Anyway to tell from a photo?
