The pins are supposed to be 0.7335 inches (can't measure that accurately with vernier calipers !) and the bushing are undersize. My question is: what's the proper clearance to establish between the pin and the bushing ? My guess would be 0.001 diametral clearance or less. I'm assuming I'll need to get there with an adjustable reamer, as none of my industrial catalogs list a reamer of the proper diameter.

I don't know the clearance used but I do know it needs to be right or your will ruin your axle and or your new king pin set. I purchased the "oversixed" king pin set, even though I really didn't need them. Next time I will know better.
Look in your phone book under large truck repair. I betcha you will find someone who can fit it up for you and at a fair price. It will be worth it in the long run.......
