Hy Canuck1946, welcome, a little more information would help, dimensions of the studs you want, part numbers of the ones that you know won't fit. The parts books quite often give us only a part number, and no description/sizes. Does your truck have Motor wheels, Kelsey wheels, Budd wheels, or Daytons?

Thanks 3B - - really appreciate you weighing in - this is all new for us - this is our first truck - will get all the information in the next day or two and post it - right now we've got one of the studs off the truck and have it out at a machine shop right now in niagara falls seeing what they can do to manufacture them. I'm waiting to get the stud back later this week. The issue seems to be that anything we find the spleen is too short and the stud itself is too short - will get the exact dimensions and reconnect. The front wheels are Budd - thanks again - really appreciate the support .

Have you taken your sample stud to a truck suspension and brake shop? Not a dealer but an independant specialist in these areas with a parts department run by an older guy who can work a catalog as well as a computer and likes a challenge to help a guy. In Ottawa I try Malmberg equipment for this but they are only in this area. When I was looking for dowel washers (cone shaped, used to locate axle shaft to hub studs) they pulled out the Euclid (part of ArvinMeritor) catalog and that catalog had over 20 pages of wheel studs.
Have a look at http://xpresswaypluscatalog.arvinmeritor.com/
Good luck.

Maybe I got lucky and hit the lottery. But I took a sample lug nut from my '46 two ton to my local O'Reilly parts store and they were able to duplicate it and what is more surprising they had them in stock! This may not happen again in the history of the world.
