How much is a shortbox stepside worth as a stand alone trailer. I am hoping to find one that has decent wood in the bottom, to put on my 56 chevy stepside. Currently it has no box.
I have a shell of a box from a 52 chevy, but not sure if it will work, I believe the length and width dimensions are the same, but the height is off about an inch. On another note, any idea if a smallbox from a 52 would work with taskforce shortbox fenders??? I haven't had much luck with anyone knowing the answer to this question for some reason. That would save me a few bucks if it would. =)

The 52 is flared or comes out at a 45 degree angle the taskforce is flat. Additionally the bolt holes are not in the correct places. You can probably make it work, but I don't think it will look right.
