I am going to a 427BBC and a 3sp saginaw out of a 71 chevelle. My question is this....my truck currently has the trans mount that bolts to the bellhousing. My tailshaft does not have a mount. The 3 speed saginaw im going to has a tail mount. Do I need to add a crossmember to support the back of the new trans or are the bellhousing mounts sufficient? Are there any crossmember mounts that bolt in? I only find them for auto trannies. | | |
