2 questions: my assembly book only shows a generator with 3 terminals, mine has 2 anyone know the correct hookup/color code?
Also 62 columm has turn signal on it with cable setup and triangle connector, anyone have info on adapting to other years wiring harness with "normal" connector? Thanks Don.

doesn't the 'assembly book' have a wiring diagram? should be color coded, one of the 3 connections in the book is likely a ground terminal ... to change connector type you just have to pull the wires out of one and insert them into the other, matching the color wires on each side of it

wiring diagrams always show the gauge and color of every wire, and the colors were standardized way before 63, these things don't change, the General said it be so wink the wiring diagram in either the shop manual [end of section 12] or the assembly manual [end of section 12] will show where they go and be labeled correctly - I don't know the 60's manuals, maybe they shortened to letters for colors, b = black, br = brown, bl = blue ... on a generator there may be 3 connections, [F]ield (blu) [A]rmature (brn) and [G]round - or there may be 2 brown wires on the A terminal, one to the regulator and one to a horn or headlight relay [so 4 wires]
