Anything else anyone is doing to put signals in without a signal stat option. They don't look right.

I put a toggle switch on the bottom flange of dash. Left for left signals and right for right signals. It has a beeper to let you know they are on.

I don’t have a signal stat but similar type

The only thing I don’t like about it is that the flashing signal light on the housing get blocked by steering wheel bars. Most the time I can’t see the blinker light. The clicker on the flasher is not very loud either.

A thread a while back mentioned a signal lever with a light at the end of the lever.

Never heard back if the guy installed it, but sound practical.
If you don’t like anything clamped to your mast the toggle mentioned above sounds like the way to go.

Good Luck
