I was just wondering if there is a way to ID the 3 speed transmission on my '66.
It is a column shifter, 3 speed but don't know if it is a Borg-Warner or what. It is not overdrive. just a normal 3 speed. Will the casting number lead me to anywhere to find out?
Thanks,
GS

According to my parts book, it is a Muncie unless you have 3.07 rear axle..Then it will be a Saginaw..

Hope this helps..

If it has 4 bolts o n the side cover it is the standard 3 speed trans.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
