I've put a SBC 350 into my 54. I'm trying to figure out the best way to hook up the throttle linkage to my carb while keeping my pedal that goes through the floor. Has any of you fabricated something that worked? Or is there some place I can look to find a dealer that has one for this purpose? | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 | Truck Shop, Brothers, and probably several other aftermarket suppliers sell a reproduction V-8 throttle linkage for TF (55-59) trucks. It should also fit the pedal configuration on a 54-55 1st series. Fred

I actually have a pedal that's similiar to that one that came out of a 88 Chevy Van that I should be able to make brackets for. Not sure why I didn't think of that guess I was just standing to close to the project as the say to see good options lol. | | |
