Hi. am new to the forum-it is great. Need help ID'ing a tranny. It is 3 speed, column shift and likely 47-55 I hope. Markings are:
GM 59161 S (or 5)on top of case.
9 3886832 GM on side of case.
Also (?)F 92 co
I have 2 others but will wait. want to sell them but need to ID them.

It would be correct for a 53,54 Chev 1/2 to 1 ton with 3 speed std. duty and 53 GMC 1/2 and 3/4 ton. Casting should be 5191615.
