Looked at a '47 Chev big truck today and brought home the door tag number. It is:
210K-H 1191 I tried VIN Buster and it only came back as 1962 Janesville. Truck shows every sign of really being a 1947 1 ton or 1.5 ton.

Any other sources for de-coding a VIN?????
I was very careful when I wrote down the number.

By Golly, I'll bet your right. Makes sense.

This was on a truck advertised as, "perfect running," condition and it turned out to be not running and derelict. But I always like to know the i.d. of rigs as much as I can.

Thank you,
Dennis
