Hey guys,
I need to know if your '60-'62 trucks have a hole in the front of the frame rail, behind the bumper, on the underside (side toward the ground) of the rail. This is in the area where a sway bar would mount.

My Suburban has matching holes on each side of the chassis, 10 inches back from the bottom edge of the front bumper. I just need to know if they all do.

Thanks,
-Brad

My '61 didn't have one either.
And I've never seen a '60-66 truck in the junkyard, pick-up or panel, that had a factory front sway bar.

Yeah, I'd like to see one.
I've seen them on '67-up, but never the earlier ones.

do y'all have assembly manuals? should show in there if/what models had them, the 55-59's all do and the AD's I've seen have'em - they might have changed later ohwell

Neat. Thanks.

That one won't work on a '60-62 though, because of the way it mounts on the lower control arm.

Still looking for someone with a '60-'62 to see if that hole is in all the frames.

the only 60-66 truck/panel/burb I've ever seen with a factory sway bar was a 66 Custom Camper 20, also only thing assy manual shows as having one standard.

My 61 3/4 ton has a set of 3/8 holes. I didn't measure, but it looks about 10 inches back
