For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 11 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 11 | Hi , I'm new to the site and have a problem with vin on my truck. Help please. What I have is a 42 chev pu, the only paperwork I have is the title. The title year date says 1942 but the vin on the title is a late series 46 code. This truck didn't have a vin tag and I didn't give it much thought. The guy I bought it from bought it thinking it was a 42 also due to the title, no vin tag there for him either. He titled it but never drove it. The engine sn is F307A. Can anyone give me some info on what my next step should be . Thanks, dean
