Anyone purchased any repop hubcaps recently? I am contemplating ordering news ones for my '46. I see Jim Carter has them (TR131) at $30 and change where American Classics (TR131S) are $45. The part numbers lead me to believe they are the same product. Has anyone purchased either of these or have experience with repop hubcaps (good or bad) from other vendors? I'm talking fit/finish/etc. Thanks!

I purchased a set for my '40 from Jim Carter about 2 years ago and they are truly show quality. Wish the rest of the truck looked that good!

I believe the $45 caps with the S in the part number are the Stainless version while the others are the Chrome version.

good observation. I would call Jim Carter and ask. He could probably get you the stainless version if they are the same thing.

I have chrome ones with the black bowties on my 1959, they totally changed the look of the truck!
