The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Paint and Body Shop lower rear patch panels on my 5 window

On my 51' 5window there is rust on the rear corners of the cab. when I bought the cab, the seller included the patch panels with it. I've not had any experience installing these patch panels. Anybody have any experience doing these (probably a dumb ?). Is this too much for an inexperienced body man? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

The cab corners were the single biggest repairs I did to my cab.
I had the theory,but had never actually carried out such an extensive and cosmetically important repair.
I was a relative 'newbie' to this as well.(It's a steep learning curve!)

I opted to butt weld,rather than overlap the joins,I also didn't disturb the door reveal area,but stopped short and cut vertically just behind the door gap.
I just took my time,checked and double checked everything and got it done.
