Does anyone know of a source for the lace-up steering wheel covers for the large diameter wheels like these 60's vintage trucks have? All the ones that I have seen are too small......doesn't have to be leather, but I need the extra grip that they provide......(no power steering)..... Anyone????

This may be what you’re looking for. It looks like the kind I used back in the 70’s. It claims to fit a wheel up to 16.5”. I’m not sure of the diameter of the stock truck wheel.

It’s shown on page 4 of this thread. The site is very slow to load:

That is the type of cover I'm looking for, but I believe it is too small in diameter. I meant to measure my steering wheel today, but forgot. 16.5" is the biggest cover that I have been able to find....I'm thinking it will take 20" or better. Thanks for the link tho.

Just went and measured mine , it's 17" in dia and is stock. I think that is the same for all our trucks includeing custom trim.
