would like any info on wheather i should replace rocker panel or full length outer cab floor first. both floor supports are solid

What year/model of truck?
Personally I would replace the rocker first as i would consider this to be more 'structural'
Depending just how bad it is,I would also consider bracing the door opening too.

Good question, I'm looking at the same thing. I have the old rocker off and the inner rocker or outer floor pan is in terrible shape. I'm scratching my head wondering just where to begin.

its a 62 C10.the rocker has a large dent otherwise its solid.the floor has cancer along the seam where the rocker meets the pan.i apppriciate the advice

I have just abut finished doing this on both sides of my truck (66 C10, I think its easier to take off the old rocker, then do the floor, then put the new rocker on and then address the cab floor supports if needed. I didn't brace the door, and it looks like everything will go back together just fine. I did mine with the cab on the frame. Pics here:

great !..your pictures helped. I think I'm going to remove the rocker to see just how much cancer I actually have. Congrat's on tackling that huge project. Post more pic's, I would like to see finished project.
