Well I am getting closer to replaceing the dash in my truck. The dash is coming out of a 49 pickup and will be going into a 1950 1/2 ton pickup. Has anybody done a replacement using a dash from a donor vehicle? Did you have any fit or alignment problems? Looks fairly straight forward, spotwelds along window channel, spotwelds at door posts and two bolts on either side on the bottom. Any words of wisdom from somebody that has tackled this before would be greatly appresiated.
