How much floor to you plan on replacing? The floors from the trucks were also used in the panel and suburban with modifications. The seat riser is different in all three, the suburban has a steel plate attached to the floor so that the jumper seat will sit flat. The after market replacement pieces will fit in all three. The entire floor that is available from many vendors will fit in all three, with a slight modification for use in a suburban and panel. The rear of the floor pan has been modified so that it will attach to the rear floor/plywood.

complete floor for pickup To fit the suburban and panel you must remove the section where the gas tank fits. You will have to remove the seat riser too.

There is one more style of panel, actually the first style of replacement panels that did not include the toe board, either left or right side.

Although that plate does not look original, it can easily be removed and a new plate can be installed. You may have more rust underneath that panel that may need to be removed.

Did suburbans have plates like that or more of actual floorboards?

The plate covered an area that started at the rear of the riser and extended just beyond the riser. It was about and 1/8" I will look for some pictures.

George,i will also be waiting for the pictures. My plate is sheet metal,I think it's about the same gauge as the floor pan.It looks to be original, but not sure.I've posted a picture of it here in the past.

I'm quite certain my floor plate is original. Here are a few photos. they aren't the greatest, but here they are.

I took the riser out of mine and replaced the floor. It is all flat metal with a few beads rolled into it for strength now with late model suburban buckets.

PRETENDING IT'S BROKEN SO I CAN PLAY IN THE GARAGE.
