I found this place as a great source for name brand tools pretty darn cheap. They aslo ship for free if you spend $99 which really isn't to hard anymore.

I have bought quite a bit of stuff from them, and I know them to be very reliable.

I picked up a '51 3100 a little while back and am looking for the proper tools to do a little work. I need the tool for the recessed bolt heads. Would this be a screwdriver-type tool or a ratchet-type. And where would I find a set? I have "modified" some screwdrivers and small sockets that are somewhat doing the job, but would love to have the tools that were made for the job. Thanks in advance....

Hey and welcome to the Bolt, I'm not sure what bolts your talking about but I think your refering to clutch head fastners. If the slot kinda looks like an hour glass, you need clutch head screwdrivers or sockets. These are available at most aftermarket restoration places and even at some local parts stores.

Thanks, and the rounded hourglass sounds right. The smaller example would be the wiper screws.... I'll check the local parts houses and shops.

I found these in socket form also...5 different sizes, about $14 each and free shipping for less than $300 total purchase. The sockets can take some TORQUE too..... smile
