Picked up an original front seat for my '59 Apache a few days ago. Took a few minutes to get into it today, separated the seatback from the base, and removed the upholstery from the base...SURPRISE!!!! Big smelly mouse nest with about a pound 'o mouse turds. No wonder the sheet metal bottom rusted out in a few places. Guess the little guys were using it as their own peronsonal Porta-Potty. Ain't it wonderful!!! smile

You probably bought their party house. Or the outhouse.

Did they come along with the seat?

It was abandoned, thankfully. I might have had a nasty surprise because I had to dig it out from between the springs with my hands...

Yeah i am soooo lucky that eventhough my truck was sitting ina field for 35 years it had zero mice. of course it also ahd zero floor pans but that is something different. LOL

Now the mustang. Oh my! I removed the glove door. BIG mouse nest. Removed the hub caps in the truck. BIG mouse nest w/ babies. removed the back seat. Mouse nest with mouse sitting there looking at me as if he was saying, "what chu looking at punk?" then followed by the "oh crap he has a hammer!" look and a skurry away. 2 boxes of decon and don't know if i will find any more mice. Hopefully they ate the decon and it wasn't the cat that left his/her muddy paw prints all over the car's hood and window ledge.

this has nothing to do with trucks, but after a summer working in alaska I came back and some mice had taken the carpet padding from my mustang and built a nest in the air filter box of my other car, it just didn't seem to run right...

They come as standard equipment on all used stovebolts. Options include mouse carcasses and even live critters such as 'possums.

we bought two cabs in Carlisle, PA a couple years ago. Dragged them to Connecticut , then two weeks later to Wilton NH. When my buddy pulled into the driveway there was a mouse peering out the door opening. His face looked like he had just done 70mph up route 84. curt
