I have the original already mounted in the dash (just the shell) but I would like to see some of your ideas.
Where did you put yours?

Do you have another set behind the seat? How did you mount the radio under your seat?
Longbox55, the shelf works well but I didn't c your radio. Do you like them behind or under the seats? Is it a pain to change stations or the volumn?

The CD player is on the right side of the cab, on the other side of the toolbox. You can just see it (the tan box) in the pic. It is just a CD player, the radio itself is in the dash, with the CD controls under the glovebox. When I got it, i went ahead and popped for the wireless remote for the changer, so operating it isn't an issue.

I like the original in the dash but didnt want two radios under each other so I think I will make an overhead console. Red Cedar to match my dash. This way I can have my radio up top with CD and clock and original(shell) in the dash. My truck didn't have a radio originally, the one that's in it as a Custom Autosound radio, which is a modern radio made to look like the factory radio. It's setup to be connected to a CD player as well.

I just want to hear the motor run for now.
