GoodDay, my name is dwayne(duwop) this is my future project. I found this truck 8 1/2 years ago on a farm and lets say the farmer did'nt want to part with her. Over time I did minor repair work for him on his tractor and other things and kept asking and letting him know I wanted to get it if he changed his mind and as you see he finally did.I bought a 55 farmall Cub from him and have restored it, which is why I think he gave in to my wishes. I have been lurking around stovebolt for a few years in hopes that the day would come that I got the truck and would need assistance and tips as I transform the 57 into what I want. Before I bought her I wanted a total restoration back to stock form but looking forward to just getting it on the road I want to make her road worthy and I'll figure it out as I go. She runs and I stole her based on what I've read in your forums. http://www.flickr.com/photos/58219237@N04/with/5349298079/

duwop, I have a soft spot for a one ton dually myself. When I finish my panel that could be my next search!

Good luck and keep us posted.

Welcome to the Bolt! I've got a 1 ton dually also, but it's not a Bolt , so I can't put it in the gallery. Good luck with yours, and keep us posted on your progress.

You should just about be able to haul that Cub on there when it's finished. That would make a cool looking combo!

That was my thought also, we have an annual farm and tractor swap meet and tractor pull here, where I'll be able to show them off when finised. Tho I'm just looking to clean it up and get her on the road(nothing major) the ole truck has so much character with the little dings and ruffness I just want to drive. Thanks for your coments!

Oh Heres a picture my project Duwop. http://i691.photobucket.com/albums/vv280/chevguy/Picture124.jpg. I do have the truck running, but the brakes need work. Im going to put a new bed on soon it as the one it is rotten. You've got a great looking truck and looks like it is in pretty decent shape. Keep us updated with progress. smile

Jordi, thats a good lookin ole gal you've got. To me mine is pretty ruff, but I've never had one this old and figured it had to rust those old farmers worked them trucks and then parked em in the field. I tried to get the ole man I got it from to let me fix it while he owned but I guess he did'nt think it was worth it. His loss my gain. Good luck!!
