were can i find tires for a 62 C40 none of tire shops carry them

jakwells The Tire Factory has them[here in Oregon anyway]. They are made by Specialty tires of America, Not a big name brand but they work and at about $135 with inner flap when I bought them a year+ ago. they are 8 ply rated tube type 700-18. they are not radials. Hope this helps.

I will be watching this topic, as I will need to buy 6 in the not so distant future for my 3800 dually. Would love to find an extra 18" wheel to use for a spare. I know, I know, just pull an outside dual and run till you get it fixed. But it has the spare tire carrier in the back and it just kinda looks naked ya know.

thanks for the info guys the prices surprised me because i thought i was going to be paying 300 each for them if available.

i would also like to know what does it cross to if i want to run radials

Radials probably aren't an option in 18" tube type.

Switching to 19.5" wheels you could run readily available radial tires, and they'd be tubeless too on single piece wheels.
