Has anyone else used a Gen II kit in their 55-59? I wanted to ask to see if anyone else has done this and if they would do it again?

I often wish I had used the custom fit but I'm not sure it would be better. It took some improvising to mount it but it worked out real well. I have no glove box though. Once all the air tubes are in place the under dash is full. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. I put one in my 57 chevy stepside and once all is said and done the underdash is full and you will not have any glovebox. The install is pretty straight forward though. Really cools off the cab! | | |
