After searching forever for a pair of rear fenders I saw a listing for a 1940 one ton pickup. I asked the owner if he ever came across rear fenders for a 1946 chevy half ton. He said as a matter of fact he had a set that he ended up selling me for an unbelievable price. Here is my problem. Does anyone know what the differences are in the two types of fenders? Would the one ton fenders still fit my 1/2 ton bed?(these seem to fit but i'm not sure. They look big but my bed never had fenders so I'm not sure if the size is an illusion.

Not sure we understand the question, you bought the 46 1/2 ton fenders.
But you think they're too big ?
And you either want the one ton fenders, or you think thats what the guy sold you ?
I would check out the gallery pictures and see what they're supposed to look like compared to yours ?
Mine are 1/2 ton.

If you find the rear fenders are not right for your truck, I'd be interested as I have none for my '46 one ton. You can call me if you like. 248-225-4098 Thanks, David
