I would also like to have the shaft cut and milled for a DD type universal joint. Obviously I would replace the shaft and gear totally if possible- I think I have seen this somewhere. If it is in a previous post forgive me as I have had to put the resto on hold for a while and hope to be back up to snuff on the search engine here soon.
