I ordered some premade fuel lines and the one from the carb to the fuel pump is about 4" short reaching the fuel pump, the pump is too low. Is the fuel pump in the same location for a car motor or truck motor?

No truck engines that I'm aware of came with hydraulic lifters. All the fuel pump locations for the 216, 235, and 261 engines are the same.
