Is it the bell housing crossmember only, or is there one farther back that the trans actually bolts to?, Or both? | | | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | It is only the mount's on the bell houseing. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. My son has a '66 and he's asking himself that question also.
His has a TH-350 now. Option's he's considering are 2004R, Muncie and T-5.
I have an sbc powered street rod with a 2004R and a 3.80 rear axle ratio. The OD 4th gear is sweet for freeway driving.
