This kinda coincides with my last post but I thought I would start a new one. The Manifold on the 235 and carb are in great shape. The manifold however has been split for dual exhaust. I want only the original single. But looking at the engine, the split is not that noticable so I am going to stick with it if I can. My ? is.. Is there a way to block the unused section of manifold off with a piece of metal cut the same dimensions and sealed with sealant? Thanks

Usually when a manifold is split the passage between the two sides is blocked off, so you couldn't do that. I'm sure you could easily trade with someone for a nice stock one.

My neighbor is looking for a set of fentons or split stock manifolds for a 235 in a '54 3100. How much you want for it? Got any pics?

thanks

Chip

Hi, Yup, got your email this morning. Just let me know after you've had a chance to check the engine out.
My brother did the duck hunting when he was in school, he likes slogging thru the water in hip waders. grin He was telling me there are some good marshes in north miss/south ark where he used to hunt.

thanks

chip
