The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Paint and Body Shop vent doors

I am almost all the way dissasembled and do not see how to remove the vent doors from the cowlings. I have the vent covers off and can see them inside the kickpanel. Any suggesions?
I believe it will something simple that I'm missing.

you should see pins top and bottom that the door pivots on, the top one has a spring on it ... lift up on the door until the bottom comes out of it's seat, then move the bottom out and drop the door down free of the top seat

an assembly manual is worth the investment

I used a flat tip screw driver and depressed the spring on the back of the door. You also have to remove the cable from that back of the door. That's easy though it just slips off of the top of it's pin.
