In hindsight that doesnt mean it wont work just that he didnt think it was a proper application for it. maybe next time mine come loose I will try it. And reporty my findings here. I think Spanky may have the best approach. getting the molds and improving the actual pad casting material.

I bought these and a new cab floor mat, very dissapointed in the quality. I really wish someone made accurate original molded style mats. Unfortunately these repros are the best we can get. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 2,549 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 2,549 | I had a better supplier for the step pads, & fender pads, but unfortunately he passed away a few years ago. I've not been able to get his molds. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2013 Posts: 1 Moderated | | Moderated Joined: Nov 2013 Posts: 1 | I've found rubber mats for the steps on my 53 COE at both The Filling Station and old chevytrucks.com. Does anyone have any experience with either of their products. I did read the comments here at the forum but have seen nothing over the last year. | | |
