Seeing that my chevy 216 head needs major repair and that I cannot find a "good" welder I might be in a position to swap my 216 for a 1953 235 blue flame. Yeah, I know it still has the "dipper" but at least it would be as close to original as I can get, at least for now. What I really need to know is this: What exactly do I need to do to swap the two motors out? What do I need to change? I really would like to "drop it in" and be done with it, however, that seems just too simple. Would love some expert advise on the procedure, do's and dont's that sort of thing.
Thanks in advance for all your kind assistance to anyone who has done this or knows how to do it.

It's funny, never time to do it right, but always time to do it over.

Standing in a church does't make one a christian anymore than having a truck in a garage make it a 53 chevy.

A 1953 "Blue Flame" would be not be a "dipper", if you mean a low-pressure 235.

The first "Blue Flame Six" was the high-pressure 235 used in 1953 cars equipped with a Powerglide transmission. Other low-pressure ("dipper") 235s were available in 1953 (in trucks and in manual-transmission cars).

Is your 235 a 1953 car or truck 235?

Any 1953 235 should be an easy install into a 1953 truck (someone else will most likely post information about differences in 1954 car-truck motor-mounts and most likely about clutch-housings).
