How are you going to cool it? Stock fan, electric, push or pull? The original location of the motor mounts will set the engine very low, and close to the cowl. I built my own "raised" mounts, and moved them forward so the HEI would clear the cowl. Helps if you do this before installing sheet metal. Another item to consider is the fender aprons, depending how low the subframe is, will determine how much trimming required for the aprons to clear the upper A arms.
